congealedmeat This album reminds me of OG Twin Peaks for some reason.

Wispy and dreamy songs with power.

Favorite track: art.

Dirk Radloff ‌I suspect, that Mrs.Silentio had some formal training, because of her good intonation. I call her timbre melancholic. It's soft album, but the lyrics are transporting messages, which are on the dark side. The overall mood let me think on Jim Morrison (The end), Nico and others from the classic rock era. I would not call it Trip-Hop, because the production is not Dance-orientated, more singer-songwriter. Gordon Midgley accompanies with much taste and lets enough space. I enjoyed this album Favorite track: no more you.

thePiecan Deep discerning Urban-Surf ! Haunting poetic lyrics of ‘summertime sadness’ weave amidst strum & picked trem' guitar. Urban in feel, from the lonely railway station platform, to the dark starry sky reflecting off cold glass clad skyscrapers. Falling with 'Art' to a screaming strat' lead, landing on a soft blanket of thereminesque ‘Gord’ synth, to being wrapped in loving 'words of the heart' from Joan's wondrous vocals! Flickering smiles of neon warmth keeps us all a-glow! Favorite track: falling is an art.

art 02:58
Sitting still so still big room listening to his reading Cold voice big words but inside we're bleeding Where's the place for us the church for those who through the night are looking for before-dawn almost-light I recall the pain what you gain through art we know that all we have is ashes and this night
2.
again 03:50
My heart goes out my body fades extend my arms please take away I cannot scream I won't alarm I swallow hard breathe myself calm They're back they're back again All is dark all is to come a battleground it's just begun Hissing words don't want to hear the coldest sweat eyes fill with tears They're here, I hear again Birdsong chorus circle round a titan falls without a sound desolation view stories coming true
3.
no more you 03:16
Darker nights are drawing in distant light is drawing me near now & here Don't you know I'd rather be anywhere at all abut here every time I fall I fall so far Who's left to pick me up? Who's left for me to trust ? Silence says a lot speaking volumes all I've got And All all I'll ever know Staccato knock familiar sound I don't know why we weren't appointed Fate twists again like it has before all rhythm lost now nothing's sure So many times, so cruelly forever trapped in minor key That knock again my blood runs cold I don't know what I want I only know what I cannot bring Myself to do So I wait, but wait what for ? The frozen clock? No more me And no more you
4.
Yes sometimes I want to fall 'cause falling is an art I've never felt like this before please come to hold me tight And sometimes I want to go and never see these stars and never sing these songs and never touch the piano keys at night And sometimes I am high 'cause I don't sleep at all what if I come to you what if I told I love And sometimes I want to die please come to close my eyes I've never felt like this before I wanna die in your arms

about

What is art? Is it the lonely gaze towards the beauty? Hours of waiting for a train that is late? The cries of a poet? Or maybe simply a sentence that someone says in the right moment.
And... silence.

"I have done it again.
One year in every ten
I manage it" - S. Plath
